THE SPECTRUM OF HORSEMANSHIP

I get to have great insightful conversations with people as they reflect on their understanding of working with horses. When people start becoming self aware and their skills and confidence start growing they start understanding themselves and how they interact with horses deeper...

Today, I receive this really cool, funny and true insight and I have to share it as some people might relate:

"I am stuck between leadership and authority leadership. Now that I have put to rest the "all hold hands and sing kumbaya philosophies, I recognise that "get up you bastard" is still my default...and this is what I am working on....I have changed my internal dialogue...and I am starting to be able to adjust myself to get the relationship I want"..

So....where do you sit on the 1-10 spectrum?
