supporting your horse through soundness issues

The other day I told you about the brilliant 16 horse formation ride as part of the Perth Royal Show put together by the amazing Louise Crosby.

I told you all about Annette and Ding (rider & horse on the right) and about their incredible story

Well I am also proud to know of the other members of this photograph.

The magnificent Cobby, his owner Ros and riding him is Ros' daughter Kat. Kat is a brilliant rider and she piloted Cobby for the 8 performances. But Cobby is only there because of the love and care of Ros as she too has dug deep into soundness and done incredible things.

This photo is so special to me as I know these horses stories. I know how hard Ros and Annette have worked to support their horses. They listen, learn, try, practice, commit, follow through and never stop caring for their horses. I get to work with special horses but I also get to work with special people like Ros and Annette.
