MERRY CHRISTMAS 2023
MERRY CHRISTMAS 2023
What a year 2023 has been!
I've caught many planes, driven countless kilometers, and met wonderful people and their beautiful horses, creating unforgettable memories.
I've also continued exploring effective virtual assistance through my courses, connecting with people worldwide.
Our Canter Therapy Podcast downloads are soaring, as Kathryn and I persist in our mission to share crucial knowledge, insights, and stories for education and inspiration. We're proud of our achievements and excited about the upcoming topics and guests for next year.
A highlight this year was spending time with Kerry M. Thomas, delving into his insights on herd dynamics and sensory soundness. Being in the snowy mountains, observing wild brumbies with Kerry, was extraordinary. Witnessing horses in their natural state, experiencing their peaceful coexistence, was truly beautiful.
This deeper understanding of horses, beyond my mere influence, has been pivotal. Interestingly, it has enhanced my ability to influence them positively. I've realised that this approach, when shared, encourages patience in others.
This year, I also launched my membership society, a platform where I share my knowledge with a growing community of dedicated horse enthusiasts from around the globe. I'm proud of the communities I've helped build in Australia, and this new social space is inclusive and affordable and it feels right.
Looking ahead to 2024, I have three major goals:
1. My membership society remains my top priority. I'm developing more resources and challenges on varied topics to enhance skills. The conformation challenge was a hit, altering the way members view horses. I'm currently running a daily blog on equine lameness from an owner/trainer perspective. More information is available on my website, and joining gives you access to our FB group. If you want to check it out use the coupon code MERRYCHRISTMAS to get a month free
2. The "Teaching People to Train Horses" program starts next month. Recognising the need of how I help people, I'm sharing my methods through two courses. The first focuses on teaching people how to educate equestrians. The course targets fellow trainers, instructors, equine professionals and interested people who are keen to improve their ability to influence people. The second is for those interested in being my recommended trainers or coaches for those enrolled in my courses.
3. This year, I'm enhancing my hands-on skills in horse health and further developing my ability to identify soundness issues. I'm excited to host Tami Elkayam in July 2024, a true powerhouse of knowledge and skills.
Finally, I want to thank Simon, Kat, Tracy, Fiona, Andrea, Katrin, Bec, Anky, Rene, Jane, Tegan, Angela, James, and my parents for their invaluable support, and Belinda for caring for my horses, JD & Aureo.
Thank you to everyone who has engaged with my posts. Your support means a lot.
Merry Christmas, and I wish everyone a festive season and a wonderful new year!
