CLAIRE & JJ

Shelley has helped me with my “wild” Waler JJ. It’s been a long rd with this boy and after two nasty falls due to his flight response my confidence was at an all time low. Three years later our relationship is the best it’s ever been and my confidence is back. We now have the tools to keep us both safe and JJ is able to keep his flight response in check. This photo was taken after a recent lesson where he exceeded all my expectations. It’s the foundation we now have to achieve so much more. I rarely have lessons with Shelley these days, not because I don’t love love them, because I need her less and less which just goes to show what a great coach she is.
