What are your favourite horse groups or trainers you follow on social media?

Here are my top 4 favourite Facebook follows and why….

1. Dressage-><-Connect https://www.facebook.com/groups/914234381969005

This group is run by Amanda Clifford. Amanda is a brilliant coach from Queensland Australia. Amanda is one of those coaches that challenges traditional thinking and I see her as a real leader in terms of lifting the quality of dressage training and understanding in Australia. Why I enjoy this group – Besides promoting great training, asking thought provoking questions and challenging the status quo……Amanda is a real maven. A maven is a passionate connoisseur of relevant and share worthy information. Therefore, Amanda is like my super amazing expert research assistant who points out the good information out there is worth my attention!

2. Candid Equitation https://www.facebook.com/thecardiffquarterbug

Candid Equitation is a page by Lysette Marie a seriously talented horse trainer and blogger originally from the UK and now living in Portugal. Lysette has worked and trained horses all over the world in multiple disciplines from racing to reining to jumping to endurance. Her observations and insights into horses are on another level. Her toolbox to solving problems and helping difficult and unsound horses is second to none. Besides being brilliant training horses, she is just as talented as a writer. Her writing is exquisite and she will make you think, cry and laugh…..actually you will laugh a lot as she shares with you the stories of the horses she works with and the discoveries she makes.

3. Isidro Espinoza Horsemanship https://www.facebook.com/isidroespinozahorsemanship

Horse trainers Isidro and Amber Espinoza dedicate part of their business to training mustangs in the USA and share the stories and progress of the horses they work with. I love following their stories and insights. They are incredibly talented horse trainers but when it comes to working with wild horses these guys are in a league of their own. The transformations you get to see are inspiring. The footage they share is real, gritty and doesn’t gloss over the difficulty of what they are sometimes faced with yet skillfully overcome. Amber gives great commentary on the videos explaining the background of the horse, techniques used and science and philosophy behind each approach.

4. Nahshon Cook Horsemanship https://www.facebook.com/NahshonCookHorsemanship

Classically trained Nahshon Cook trains and rehabilitates horses in the US. He posts videos and writes articles about his ideas and horses he is working with. The really cool thing about Nahshon is his unique way he describes and presents his ideas. His use of the English language is extraordinary. I am a collector of how to describes certain principles in horse training. I collect descriptions and analogies for my work in helping people. Sometimes one description of a training idea will won’t resonate with a person, but another will. Nahshon’s descriptions are truly unique and demonstrate his depth of understanding and passion for what he does.

Therefore, these pages and groups I recommend to follow.

I would love to hear any other groups or pages that you enjoy or find helpful!!‼️
